Dear. Representative of Korean Education Association
I am writing this letter because I believe academies should not give homework to students. Many students agree with me. I will explain the reasons why the students should not get homework from academies.
Before I write the reasons, I'll explain about homework. Homework or homework assignment, refers to tasks assigned to students by their teachers to be completed outside of class (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homework). According to 'Debate organization', 72% of the people who voted disagreed with getting homework (http://www.debate.org/opinions/should-homework-be-banned).
My first reason why we should not get homework from academies are because of children's health. In the article (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1382417/Grandma-right-babies-DO-wake-taller-sleep.html) it proves that sleeping helps children grow taller. Many of the students do their homework at night after coming back from academies which is almost 10 p.m. this can stop students grow taller.
The second reason why we should not get homework from academies are because children have the right to do what they want to do. There are facts tot show this is true. It has been discovered that in the United Kingdom, they have a lot of articles and children's rights hat children have the right to play if they want to (http://www.playfulcommunities.org.uk/why_play_matters/childrens_right_to_play.aspx)
The final reason is because children don't have good attitude in school. We all know that schools should be the motivation for student's education. Not ACADEMY. However because academies have a lot of homeworks, they have to do it at school. This makes the atmosphere of the school bad. They don't concentrate in school. This even make student's grade lower because the school test is made by school teachers not academy teachers.
As you can see, there are a lot of reasons why the students should not get homework from academy. Even though homework is another way of practicing, but it has a lot of bad spots. I hope you will consider my point of veiw and make no homework from academy. thank you.

ReplyDeleteSome of your expressions come straight from the book and therefore do not fit; it has not been discovered that the UK has various laws on children's laws. That is merely a fact.
